Mr. Heartfelt
Email/Profile: George, 38
Dear Dating Analyst:
Please evaluate this email and the profile that went with it.
Email: I was born and raised in the suburbs back east. I like to get back there when I can for some ACTUAL pizza. Only weirdo Californians would put chicken or pineapple on their so-called "pizza".
I think that I would be honored to make your acquaintance and see if we have that heartfelt chemistry.

Accompanying profile:
Hi. My turn ons are sponges, pigeons, ostrich beauty contests and bottle cap collections. OOOPS! Sorry, REAL profile as follows:
I am laid back, easygoing, a Contentious Objector to All That Is Trendy and a Concerned, Pacifist Anarchist. My main hobby is thinking to point of conclusion. I have no use for professional sports. I SHAVE MY ARMPITS!
Things that make me smile in no particular order:
1) old fire trucks
2) Cats, ok dogs too.
3) pumpkin fudge
4) a forest of autumn leaves
5) taco salad
6) tranquility
7) rhubarb pie
8) your morning hair (?)
9) Chicago: Growth Of A Metropolis (that's a book)
10) Old trains, the real ones. Okay, the model ones too.
11) Monty Python's Flying Circus
I would love a dining companion to find that special Hungarian restaurant, a hiking companion to share Lookout Point, a laughing companion to share a comedy club and a sensual companion to share it all. If you laugh at Monty Python, like to swim in maple leaves, and eat Chinese by the beach, then perhaps we can ride our bikes to the coffee shop. If we meet, please allow our feelings determine where we go. We can start with heartfelt chemistry and continue to create an "US".
p.s. Please love cats.
p.s.s. Please have a profile that is funny and/or heartfelt. Almost all of what is written is a boring list of attributes and requirements. If you are truly funny, it should show in what you write. I have only found one profile that is is funny.
Let's allow our feelings to determine where we go. Of course, I would love to have a lifetime Heartmate. I think that it is beautiful that men and women can be more than friends. I think that it is wonderful that there can be a great many Love Experiences between a man and a woman between Friendship and Marriage. The beauty of life is being able to caress each other with feelings, to fulfill our desires and just let "commitment" happen without planning, preconception or without even speaking the word.
LoveHowTo Dating Analyst's Take:
George is a little all over the place, but the core when he comes back to it, as he repeatedly does, is his vision/desire/dream of "heartfelt chemistry." We don't really know what that is, but we can get the theme. George seeks emotional connections and believes they originate in the heart. It's hard to know whether he is nostalgic for something he once had and lost or perhaps has always been imagining as the answer.
We can pretty much skip the body of his text and go right to the p.s's which is where the chickens come home. "P.s. Please love cats." "p.s.s. Please have a profile that is funny and/or heartfelt. Almost all of what is written is a boring list of attributes and requirements..." But what has he been doing but stringing together a long list of same? Starting with no pineapple on pizza, please love cats, he even specifies what kind of restaurant he wants to find with his love match (Hungarian) and in what type of location he wants to eat Chinese (the beach). You leave little room for flexibility here, George, and some gals don't like sand in their General Zhou's chicken.
