Maybe the way you write does say who you are. At first Harry sounds clever with the snappy way he has strung together values and likes. And then I read it again, trying to get past the flipness (his admitted wise-guy ness) and I began to see a string of cliches, or maybe even corporate slogans: "Constant work in progress." "Things are best when shared." "Relationships begin with the first steps." Does he write ad copy? Fortunes for cookies?
There is a lot of balancing of opposites. He appreciates both spontaneity and planning, being a spectator and being a player. Catwoman vs Wonder Woman. On baseball, though, there is no ambivalence. This is good, it IS a great game. But then he slips - no problem, folks always do - "I like the idea of being thoughtful..." Great, but let's get to the point: Is he a thoughtful person or not?
All in all, Harry gets points for not having rigid requirements about his match - he just wants someone who smiles and laughs. Not a bad start.
